Cold Comforts

Get warm with cozy accoutrements.

September 2007

When the mercury drops, even city girls embrace their rustic side. So designers are showing a soft spot for cozy accessories with a pastoral flair, while keeping the offerings far from provincial. Stylishly slouchy, Michael Kors’s cashmere and suede shoulder bag could easily handle a little northern exposure. And as any fashion follower knows, Roger Vivier is anything but backwoods. Thus designer Bruno Frisoni’s take on the theme is far more town than country. His supersoft suede boot is sexed up to the max with a sky-high heel and robust cord detail and is topped with a fluffy tuft of fox fur. The message here: Only foxy ladies need apply.
