Transparent crystals glisten up a few of spring’s chicest new accessories.

Slate-gray skies and chilled-to-the-bone mornings are upon us, and so
begins the annual ritual of conjuring a (fashioncentric) wish list for
warmer days. Fantasy and reality were on the mind of Miuccia Prada as
she designed her spring accessories collection, rendered as pieces
efficient and entirely frivolous. The former: a utilitarian (albeit
superchic) hemp tote adorned with see-through crystals; the latter, a
provocative ankle-strap sandal with an aquamarine Plexiglas heel—again
adorned with those transparent crystals. Clearly, these are rock stars
of a different sort. And should one wish to begin imagining which
accoutrements to wear next season, Prada has items that play to both the
good girl and her sexier alter ego.
