Frosted Lips
This holiday season Lancôme Paris is infusing its popular Juicy Tubes
collection with some glitz, issuing five limited-edition shades in
fanciful new packaging. Showered in Diamonds (shown here) is an icy
gloss that can be layered over lipstick for a subtle shimmer effect.

Pretty in Pink
For modern-day Marie Antoinette types, Jean Paul Gaultier’s new Electric
Glamour powder and gloss lend a playful pop of pink as well as a girly
scent to cheeks and lips. The fragrance is Ma Dame, a sweetly powdery
blend of musk, grenadine, orange and rose notes that’s also available in
liquid form. $30 for the palette, $18 for the gloss; at Sephora.

A Compelling Case
Donatella Versace’s newest scent, Gianni Versace Couture, comes nestled
in a handmade napa leather train case embossed with a Greek key pattern,
a house signature. Fortunately the feminine mix of mandarin, red
berries, Sambac jasmine and patchouli lives up to its elaborate
wrapping. $2,100; at Versace.

Black Magic
The glistening goo inside each jar of Givenchy Le Soin Noir owes its
chic ebony shade to the addition of black algae sap. The marine extract
is meant to reduce the appearance of lines and foster a more radiant
complexion. The lotion is unexpectedly silky to the touch, and its dark
color vanishes when rubbed into skin.
$360; sephora.com.

The Cure
Dr. Sebagh Suprême Maintenance Youth Serum is the skincare equivalent of
a multi-vitamin. The potion
is said to promote
skin elasticity with
hibiscus extract and fight wrinkles with
antioxidant-rich grape-seed
extract. A harmless bacterial strain reportedly guards skin against
dryness and extreme cold but may leave germaphobes running scared.
$400; at Barneys
New York.
