The Task Master
Elizabeth Arden Prevage Day Ultra Protection Anti-Aging Moisturizer SPF 30 PA++ (whew!) appears to have its bases covered. The silky formula hydrates with shea butter, protects with a broad-spectrum sunscreen that shields against UVA and UVB rays, and offers a hefty dose of idebenone, the brand’s signature superstar antioxidant. $125; elizabetharden.com

Juicy Fruits
The scent creators at Juicy Couture dove into the fruit bowl for their third fragrance, tossing hearty amounts of grape, mandarin and plum into Couture Couture. Orange flower, honeysuckle and star jasmine soften the blend with a ladylike touch, then sandalwood, amber and vanilla ground it with some honest-to-goodness sex appeal. $85 for the eau de parfum; at Bloomingdale’s.

Eye Dream

Lancôme’s new Génifique Eye uses the same skin-nourishing probiotic extract, bio-lysat, that’s in its antiaging Génifique Concentrate. It also contains flavonoid-rich buckwheat wax to help protect against UV damage, which Lancôme lab coats claim encourages dark circles. $59; at Dillard’s.

Eau Boys
For a follow-up to their first women’s scent, the sweet, full-bodied Flowerbomb, fashion design duo Viktor & Rolf wanted to create its antithesis. The result, Eau Mega, uses light, fresh notes of basil, pear, lemon and peony (hence the “Eau”) with just a few “Mega” notes of violet, jasmine and cedar, all anchored by a creamy musk base. $100; at Neiman Marcus.

Ties That Bind
La Prairie, the skincare brand that famously infused a $1,000 cream with platinum, is now hoping to capture the essence of that precious metal, as well as two others, with its Life Threads fragrance collection. Each of the three scents—woodsy floral Silver; warm, spicy Gold; and richly mossy Platinum—comes in a glass bottle tightly bound with sparkling metallic string. $125 each; at Neiman Marcus.

Hair Raised
The global researchers at Proctor & Gamble found a solution to thin, lifeless locks in the savannahs of Africa, home of the baobab tree. When applied to hair, baobab leaf extract plumps the cuticle, making hair feel—and look—fuller and more lush. That’s why it is the star ingredient in the completely reformulated Fekkai Advanced Full Blown Volume Lifting Hairspray. $20; at Sephora.
