15| Totally Incensed
The American idea of incense has more to do with patchouli and stinky sticks than it does with sophistication. But famed French nose Francis Kurkdjian insists it can be chic. His incense papers, which are meant to be folded up and lit in an ashtray, scent a space in a matter of seconds but leave a fragrance that lasts up to five hours. $25; at Bergdorf Goodman, New York.
16| Hearth Warming

The complex blend of ylang-ylang, magnolia and iris is meant to evoke Moore’s strong personality. $60; at Macy’s.
19| Spray Happy
When it comes to perfume, an extra splash or two in the morning often makes it smell stronger, not last longer.
