Nail Crushing
With so many excellent nail polish shades coming out this fall, my hands
have been both busy and heavily decorated. My favorite from Maybelline’s
new Color Show collection is a gray-aubergine mix called Silver Stunner
($4; maybelline.com); Mac has more than tripled its shade range, from 8
to 30, including Screaming Bright, a shimmery opaque gold ($16;
maccosmetics.com); and Estée Lauder’s creative makeup director, Tom
Pecheux, has gone très subversive with some to-die-for dark colors like
the ones above, from left: Blue Blood, Caviar, Viper, and Bête Noir ($20
