“I’m not a typical leading man,” says actor Dane DeHaan.
Throughout much of the history of cinema, male and female characters have been depicted in ways that conform to traditional gender stereotypes. That just doesn’t fly for many actors today, including Dane DeHaan, Mia Wasikowska, Ansel Elgort and Mia Goth, who all star in Prada’s latest fragrance campaign. “A man is the strongest when he can also be feminine, and a woman is strongest when she is unafraid of embracing the masculine aspects of who she is,” DeHaan says in the video, above. “I think the best men and the best women are just like each other and they are complete human beings.”

When asked who he cherishes most, actor Dane DeHaan answered right away. “The two most important people in my life are my wife and my mom,” he said. “My mom is one of my best friends.” Ansel Elgort, too, mentioned his girlfriend.
