Everyone wants a piece of the promised Timbaland. Why? “I’m always changing up the style,” says the superproducer. “Once you think you’ve got me down pat, I’m switching it up.” So true. He’s worked syncopated magic on everyone from Björk and Beck to Justin Timberlake and, most recently, Madonna. And Timbaland’s fashion sense is equally ahead of the curve. Onstage, he flaunts classic hip-hop grit in sweatshirts and baggy shorts. But he also cleans up nicely, looking downright dapper in Alexander McQueen, Louis Vuitton and Gucci.
