Terrible! Don't like it Not bad I like it Great!

“I’m not a supermodel, obviously,” said Chloë Sevigny.

Fashion followers hoping to squeeze in a little shut-eye during Paris Fashion Week were sorely disappointed this season; virtually every designer hosted a late-night, star-studded postshow event. At the Louis Vuitton dinner at Prunier, Richard Prince, who designed a line of much praised handbags for the house, was feted by Bernard Arnault, Sophie Dahl and Zoe Cassavetes. “I am beat,” said makeup artist par excellence Pat McGrath, sighing. “Time for vacation.”

The night before, Chloë Sevigny was the main attraction at the launch party for Chloé’s new signature fragrance. The actress, who appears in the scent’s ads, believes that by spokesmodeling she’s performing a public service. “I look at some perfume campaigns and see girls looking so unrealistic,” she said. “I want women to look at me and be inspired. I’m not a supermodel, obviously.”

Kirsten Dunst had other reasons for agreeing to appear on the cover of Brit magazine Lula. “The fun was gamboling around Saint Moritz during the shoot,” she said at the party to celebrate the photos, which was held at Chanel’s rue Cambon headquarters.

By far the raunchiest bash was thrown by Nicolas Ghesquière, who hosted a rowdy shindig at hot spot Le Baron after his Balenciaga show. Artist and new front-row fixture Cindy Sherman marveled at the hip crowd, which included Jarvis Cocker, Irina Lazareanu, Emma de Caunes, soccer stud Hidetoshi Nakata and model-cum-actress Joana Preiss. As François-Henri Pinault was leaving—well past the witching hour—Mary-Kate Olsen was just stepping inside. “It’s only getting started,” Pinault said, just before Olsen got down and dirty on the dance floor.
