On the heels of its Turks and Caicos resort opening, hotel and beach-club group Nikki Beach is attempting to amp up its already hedonistic, Euro-heiress-attracting image with its first Jet Set Tour. Owner Mike Penrod calls it “a moving party,” in which select VIPs will travel via plane, yacht and party bus to a new spot every few days for eight weeks. The Cannes Film Festival will be the site of a 10-day kickoff party—followed by an itinerary that includes Monaco, Marbella, Ibiza, London and Milan—where Nikki Beach will host debaucherous soirées open to clients and their “high-end friends.” Penrod promises top DJs, celebrities and models, though so far the most famous person to sign on as a “VIP” jetsetter is the ubiquitous Chris Noth.
