Even if you’re not much of a speed freak, Senna, the new documentary about legendary Formula One racing driver Ayrton Senna, is likely to get your adrenaline pumping. Told solely through archival footage, the film, which won a World Cinema Audience Award at this year’s Sundance festival and opened August 12, gives us a driver’s-eye view of not only the perilous turns in the track, but the formi- dable nerves and power that drove the charismatic Brazilian to win three Grand Prix titles before his untimely death in a crash at age 34.
