Britney Spears and Jason Alexander: 55 Hours, 2004

Topping our list—or bottoming our list—Britney Spears’s first public scandal (pre head shaving, rehab, and custody battles) was her 5:30 a.m. quickie wedding to childhood friend Jason Alexander in Vegas. The whole thing was swiftly annulled barely two days later by Spears’ team of fast-moving handlers, leaving her free to walk down the aisle again a few years later with Kevin Federline.
