Kicking off 30 days of creativity in TriBeCa

blog_gallery_goround.jpgA colorful crowd gathered for last Thursday’s opening of Thirty Days NY, a new pop-up gallery in TriBeCa curated by the savvy owners of Los Angeles’s Family bookstore, known for its eclectic offerings by up-and-coming LA-based artists and musicians. The month-long East Coast project will feature performances and discussions with artists, musicians, actors and filmmakers, including the likes of Albert Maysles, Lee Ranaldo and Art Spiegelman. At the fete, guests dipped into the books, gawked at the art and enjoyed a performance by Aska Matsumiya and Brian DeGraw (of New York’s Gang Gang Dance).
