Marchesa’s Georgina Chapman, for one, found her inspiration on a recent sun-kissed cruise down the Nile with her mom. The designer was so impressed, she turned her resort collection into one big gilt-y Egyptian pleasure. “There’s no better way to work through such an obsession than with fashion,” she says.
