Beauty obsession of the week: Diorissimo Eau de Parfum
I was first turned on to Diorissimo perfume in my early twenties. My first boss wore it and I thought there was nothing more ladylike than this lily of the valley scent. I kept it on my dresser but saved it for special dress-up occasions because it was a bit… strong. Of course, I saved it too well and ended up having to throw out a nearly full bottle after it sat on said dresser for about eight years, eventually souring. That was a decade ago.
Fast foward to last summer, when Dior introduced Diorissimo Eau de Parfum, a sheerer, lighter version of the magical white floral and leafy green scent. I’ve been wearing it almost daily, whether I’m in a gown or in shorts—and not a day goes by when I’m not stopped by someone inquiring about it. So, as I’ve told my friends at Dior, I am making it my mission to single-handedly make Diorissimo a hit once again. And I’m not just saying that so they’ll keep sending me bottles. $75 at Saks.com
