Costume Drama: We Bought A Zoo
We Bought a Zoo is Cameron Crowe’s big “welcome home” to feature filmmaking, a sentimental yet sap-free flick with a soundtrack to match. Matt Damon stars as a widower, a good-hearted Everyman who decides to upend his family (including his daughter, played by the darling Maggie Elizabeth Jones, this generation’s answer to Shirley Temple) and move to the countryside to restore a run-down wildlife park.
