Photography-and-animation duo Pamela Reed and Matthew Rader of Reed + Rader use the phrase “augmented reality” to describe their work, which is part high-concept fashion photography, part digital video. For W, they animated runway looks with models playfully moving alongside futuristic graphics. “Fashion has always been great at dreaming up fantasies with whimsical characters,” Reed says.
