Tropic Tone

Spring hues strike a bold note.

There’s nothing like a splash of color to usher in the warmer months, and as luck would have it, many of the season’s baubles are awash in just that—specifically tropical hues, from beachy brown and pale purple to vibrant claret and mossy green. Calling to mind the brilliant shades of Caribbean flowers, the rubellite and green tourmaline disks on Tito Pedrini’s collar are translucent when held up to the light. The pear-shaped citrine pendant and carved tourmaline leaf dangling from Sharon Khazzam’s necklace twinkle brightly, while H. Stern’s citrine and ametrine ring beams a golden glow—all the better to wear in balmy conditions.
