Google Glass is about to get an eyewear makeover
A great pair of sunglasses can elevate any outfit. Google Glass frames, however, do not have the same effect. Eyewear conglomerate Luxottica, the parent company to both Ray-Ban and Oakley, is attempting to fix that by joining forces with the digital behemoth. While Luxottica’s previous foray into the world of high tech—a pair of Oakley shades that stored and played up to 1 gigabyte of music in the early 2000s—was discontinued, we’re hoping their second attempt will be easier on the eyes.
