Max Vallot and Tom Daly discuss their new line of performance eyewear.

“There’s a new global consciousness­ around well-being,” says Max Vallot, a cofounder, with Tom Daly, of the creative agency District Projects and a die-hard yogi. The duo, vets of Saint Laurent and Acne Studios, respectively, have launched District Vision, a line of high-performance eyewear—featherweight, shatterproof, and handmade in Japan—that is the first step toward a full-fledged sportswear collection. “We wanted to begin with a tool that athletes actually need and that will enhance their workout,” explains Daly, who is also a competitive runner. The glasses will be sold at Dover Street Market in New York, Colette in Paris, and the Webster in Miami, and are currently available at, a platform for connecting athletes to exclusive health and fitness happenings. “People are starting to live more active, self-explorative, and holistic lifestyles,” Vallot says. “We hope to create a brand in line with our generation.”
