Molly Bair Gets in Your Face for Alyx Spring 2016 by Nick Knight
In September during New York Fashion Week launched volume one of his seasonal catalogue series in collaboration with photographer Nick Knight and art director Paul Hetherington. It was a way to promote both his new collection and the new brand's overall identity, which is a mix of California's free spirit and New York's dark romance. He's since become a finalist for the coveted LVMH prize, which will be announced Thursday, and is working his way towards larger shows and luxury status. In the meantime, Williams gives extra attention to his brand's visuals, hence another striking catalogue, this time called "Special Problems" and featuring model Molly Bair, whom Williams describes as "a breath of fresh air among so much falseness."
