Katy Perry, Leonardo DiCaprio and All the Models at the amfAR Gala
During a week of endless parties at the Cannes Film Festival, amfAR's Cinema Against Aids Gala was the crown jewel, with a mile-long guest list that included Helen Mirren, Uma Thurman, Harvey Weinstein, Elle Fanning and more models than you could imagine. Katy Perry performed--as did Sister Sledge and The Village People. Alessandra Ambrosio, Jourdan Dunn, Lily Donaldson, Natasha Poly, Doutzen Kroes and more turned the stage into a runway to model a "disco collection" of clothes from the likes of Burberry, Chanel, Prada and more--curated by Carine Roitfeld. And lest you forget that this is a fundraiser after all, the entire disco collection was auctioned off for a cool $1.7 million. Other items on the docket? The complete Taschen library housed inside a structure by Jean Prouve ($2.7 million); a one-off Ferrari previously owned by Lapo Elkann ($1.1 million); and a week at Leonardo DiCaprio's Palm Springs home ($500,000). DiCaprio, meanwhile, was back in action in the South of France after a quick trip to New York for the Riverkeep Gala, where he was honored for his dedication to the environment. Never mind the carbon emissions from his private jet.
