Getting Ready with Lottie Moss Before Her First Marc Jacobs Runway Show
Five years ago, Lottie Moss, half-sister of Kate Moss, met Marc Jacobs, reigning king of New York Fashion Week, at Kate’s wedding to Jamie Hince. “I was thirteen years old, [and] I remember being there and my mom going, ‘That’s Marc Jacobs,’” recalls Moss. “At the time I didn’t really know how big of a deal he was. I was just like, ‘Okay, he makes clothes.’” Oh, how the times have changed. On the last day of New York Fashion Week, Moss, herself an up-and-coming model, sat front row at Jacobs’ hip-hop inspired fall runway show. Ahead of the show, Moss prepared by invoking the beauty spirit of fellow-Brit Sienna Miller, and lots of talk about pizza and Sofia Richie.
