“I spent my spring break in Turks and Caicos with my fiancé, Oscar. It’s a place of pure beauty, and it’s so quiet—ideal for a much-needed vacation from fashion. But that didn’t mean I couldn’t indulge in a pinup moment in my Norma Kamali bathing suit! I was inspired by Elizabeth Taylor in the film Suddenly, Last Summer.

“I travel so much, it’s hard for my friends to keep track of me. This Max Mara coat makes me easier to spot. Instead of ‘Where’s Waldo?’ it’s ‘Where’s Gio?’ ”

“My fiancé is Swedish, so for our wedding in June, we’re going to give our guests a gift of Swedish candies. Of course, we had to have a little tasting—tough job, right?”

“Moda Operandi threw a dinner in London for Giambattista Valli. Isn’t Lauren Santo Domingo like a modern-day Marie Antoinette, eating her cake?”

“My friend Douglas Little, an installation artist, created a line of perfumes for Barneys New York. It’s called Heretic Parfums, so you can imagine how naughty but romantic they smell.”

“In preparation for my wedding partying, I need to get stronger and fitter, so I’m working with a trainer. I’m not very coordinated, but at least I look sporty in my Azzedine Alaïa!”

“I took a page from the book Vera Wang on Weddings and tried sketching my own cake. I’m quite pleased with the result.”

“We are getting married in Italy, on Capri—these stairs, which I unexpectedly discovered in Anacapri, are a good omen.”
