Oh the Gloria of It All

Gloria and Peter Marino

In the ’80s, Princess Gloria von Thurn und Taxis was the society wild child who personified the decade’s glorious excess. In the ’90s, she found religion. Last night, at New York’s National Exemplar gallery, she presented a solo exhibition of portraits, all of them cardinals. We even spotted a live one, separated from his flock.
