Jonathan Anderson officially kicked off London Fashion Week with his namesake show on Saturday, where models stalked the designer’s characteristically narrow runways in sophisticated updates of his increasingly polished fare. Still, the playfulness from his men’s collection earlier this summer was hardly forgotten: Anderson looked to Henry VIII for inspiration, which popped up in the collection in both ruffles and bold Tudor sleeves – alongside fish and dragon motifs.
