Katharina Grosse: WUNDERBLOCK

Katharina Grosse

A zillion years ago, before magazine covers were created on iPhones, there were the simple pleasures of Microsoft Paint and its delightful spray-can-like tool. The German installation artist Katharina Grosse has recaptured that sense of childlike play at the Nasher Sculpture Center in Dallas, TX, where her riot of pigment and earth combines computer class with kindergarten recess. “Katharina Grosse: WUNDERBLOCK” runs through September 1, 2013, at the Nasher Sculpture Center in Dallas, 2001 Flora Street.
