Kim Basinger Has Always Had Great Pantsuits, and Even Better Hair

The actress and former fashion model Kim Basinger, who turns 63-years-old today, has been turning heads on the red carpet for decades with her bold pantsuits and stunning blonde hair. She was signed by Ford Models in the ’70s, but hated the scrutiny of the fashion industry, and pursued her longtime dreams of acting instead. In 1983, she played a Bond girl alongside Sean Connery in Never Say Never Again, and met her second husband, Alec Baldwin, in 1990 on the seamy set of The Marrying Man. They have one daughter together, Ireland Baldwin, but divorced in 2002. Basinger’s artistic claim to fame, however, was her performance as Lynn Bracken in the 1997 film L.A. Confidential, which won her the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. And in 2017, she’ll prove she’s still got it with a role in Fifty Shades Darker.
