Silk suits and slinky dresses marked Bouchra Jarrar’s first collection as creative director of Lanvin. Her Spring 2017 show inside the Hôtel de Ville was filled with smart jackets and classic tailoring–plus, some feather embellishments for good measure. As such, the beauty look was equally refined, with natural makeup and simple, side-parted hair left down or pulled back into a low ponytail. With the addition of flat, sequined slide sandals, the entire thing felt perfect for today’s modern woman. Familiar faces graced the runway, including Karlie Kloss, Liu Wen, Arizona Muse, and Imaan Hammam. Simbarashe Cha captures the models backstage, here.
