Fashion East Has Found Your Missing Pair of Socks
Some of London's most exciting young talent has passed through the Fashion East incubator in recent seasons—for Spring 2017, wunderkind Charles Jeffrey showed there, just after graduating from Central Saint Martins and before emerging as a talent to watch for Fall 2017. This season, Rottingdean Bazaar and Art School are Lulu Kennedy's labels of the moment, both willfully challenging, aesthetically minded design duos changing the face of London fashion. At Rottingdean, the grungy socks left at the bottom of your laundry took center stage, occupying tees and scarves and, in particularly stretched-out versions, standing in for pants; while at Art School, street-cast models were swathed in ethereal folds of fabric.
