Michael Kors Throws Himself a Dinner in London
Michael Kors recruited a dream guest list for a dinner celebrating his Regent Street store opening in London on Wednesday night, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Jessica Chastain and Solange Knowles. For the occasion, he rented out his favorite restaurant in town: The River Cafe, where chef Ruth Rogers, the founder, was on hand to make sure the dishes were up to snuff. The fact that he dressed many of his guests was fortuitous, as many of them would go on to do double duty at the Victoria and Albert Museum's inaugural summer party, including Sabine Getty, Arizona Muse and Joan Collins. But the real stars of the night were the handsome F1 drivers Jenson Button and Fernando Alonso, that stole the show even from Kors himself.
