In between shows I visited Sergio Dávila, who designs sophisticated, multicolored sportswear for both men and women, at his retro store in Lima’s Miraflores District.

One of my favorite pieces came from Escudo’s first collection. The brand’s designer Chiara Macchiavello works with weavers who create the fabrics on handlooms in the Andean town of Huancavelica.
