Strange Bedfellows: Katy Perry and Rodarte

Kate and Laura Mulleavy, the sisters behind Rodarte, have always had a way of attracting the young, talented and beautiful. The launch of their collaboration with & Other Stories was no different. In Los Angeles, the likes of Dakota Fanning, Gia Coppola and Kim Gordon, all longtime fans of the label, turned up for a dinner at the home of musician Alphaeus Taylor and artist Elliot Hundley. And when you take into consideration the traffic, that’s very impressive indeed. But there was also one unexpected guest in their midst: Katy Perry! While the musician is not exactly known for the eccentric aesthetic favored by the Mulleavys, she surprised by very much looking the part in Rodarte.
