Cara Delevingne's Best Hedi Slimane Moments
Amid the swirl of "will he or won't he" debate surrounding Hedi Slimane's rumored departure from Saint Laurent, one thing remains constant: the designer's affinity for model-actress Cara Delevingne, she of the bold eyebrows — and her affection for him. Delevingne stars in Saint Laurent's "La Collection de Paris" campaign, a series featuring looks from Slimane's Fall 2016 collection of the same name — an announcement that comes just days after Jane Birkin was also tapped for a peer campaign for Le Smoking. Featuring Saint Laurent's trademark '80s-inspired fur and glitz, Delevingne's campaign is the latest installment of their ongoing collaboration; she first appeared in Saint Laurent's "Grunge" campaign in 2013, and has since walked in Slimane's Fall 2013 and Spring 2015 runway presentations as well as appearing in YSL Beauté's Fall 2015 campaign photographed by Terry Richardson and its Touche Éclat campaign photographed by Craig McDean. And since her burgeoning acting career has taken off, she's continued to sport Saint Laurent designs on red carpets around the world — most notably, a showstopping silver mini dress for the New York premiere of Paper Towns and the very skirt she wore on Slimane's runway just months prior to the film's press tour.
