The Glamour of Italian Fashion

Valentino with models, 1967

From the unabashedly feminine designs of the Fontana Sisters to the strikingly intellectual imaginings of Miuccia Prada, Italy’s contribution to the world of fashion has been rich and influential. “The Glamour of Italian Fashion 1945–2014,” an exhibition at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London (through July 27), showcases 100 of the most extraordinary creations of the past seven decades.
