Weekender: Playa del Carmen, Mexico
This weekend, I’m heading to Esencia Hotel in Playa del Carmen, Mexico for the wedding party of a dear friend of mine. The overall vibe is very relaxed and in keeping with the seaside location, I’m planning a bohemian inspired wardrobe. What am I looking to most? Skipping heels entirely in favor of flat sandals.
This bright tee is a great summer staple.
I hate landing in Mexico with a heavy bag, so I will stuff all my reading material into this canvas tote by Tory Burch.
I’m going to pair these printed culottes with an Equipment silk t-shirt for a casual dinner in Tulum on Thursday night.
I plan to sit by the pool (with a hat and covered in sun block of course) wearing this suit. Jo de Mer really makes the best prints.
I can throw on this lightweight Zimmermann dress to have lunch between dips in the pool.
A stylish way to hide from the sun.
I saw this in the window at Alice & Olivia and knew it was perfect for a trip into the city from the hotel.
This statement-making gladiator sandal will be the perfect compliment to my knit dress.
The wedding is overlooking the water so I really want to be in a short printed dress. This feels appropriately elegant but not too over the top!
These classic sandals will work well with everything.
I love that there’s a bit of a fire-and-ice feel to this clutch.
It almost goes without saying that a good pair of sunglasses is essential.
