In the Mood for… A Summer Wedding

Wedding Inspiration

It girls and street style personalities like Helena Bordon and Giovanna Battaglia have gotten married in grand style this summer — for Bordon, a church ceremony in São Paulo and a beachfront wedding in St. Barth’s, and for Battaglia, a blowout three-day party in Capri. Their non-stop marriage celebrations have got us dreaming of veils and couture gowns and decadent rings; here, a look back at the best wedding inspiration from the W archives.

Rick Owens’s trademark neutral palette might not be the first thing to come to mind when you think “wedding,” but, as Carine Roitfeld proves, it’s the perfect gown when paired with a sage-green shawl.

And then, on the other side, there’s “Domestic Bliss” — or some form of it — à la Brad and Angie.
