Salvatore Ferragamo’s Festa Italiana
Salvatore Ferragamo clearly had vacation in mind when it threw a party Thursday evening celebrating the reopening of its Fifth Avenue flagship. The fete was themed “Summer Holiday”; guests like DJ Solange Knowles, Zani Gugelmann, and Genevieve Jones wore Riviera-worthy breezy get-ups, and the night doubled as a launch for “Mr. & Mrs. Smith Hotel Collection: Italy,” a coffee table tome-cum-guide courtesy of the travel experts Mr. & Mrs. Smith. (The event also supported the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center’s Pediatric Family Housing Endowment.) And should guests have ended up with wanderlust on their minds they were in luck: Ferragamo also debuted their forthcoming Travel Luggage Collection.
