ABT’s Night with Valentino and Graff
The same day President Obama gave a commencement speech uptown at Barnard, Michelle Obama served as honorary chair for the American Ballet Theatre’s Spring Gala (though Mrs. Obama was not actually in attendance). This year sponsored by Valentino and Graff, the affair at the Metropolitan Opera House saw a fashionable crowd including Jessica Stam, Alek Wek, Monique Pean and Zang Toi, alongside mainstays like Fe Fendi, Julia Koch and Jamee Gregory. After a performance featuring previews for the company’s upcoming season, guests sat down to dinner in a black and red color-schemed tent.
