Mayor Bloomberg cut the ribbon on the red carpet at Cipriani Wall Street on Wednesday night, kicking off New York’s Fall Fashion Week and amfAR’s appropriately supermodel- and celebrity-studded annual black tie gala. Honorees this year included Kenneth Cole, Janet Jackson, and Heidi Klum for their exceptional work in the fight against AIDS.
