Italy came to midtown Monday evening when Fendi and Venetian Heritage, a non-profit organization concerned with preserving Venice, hosted a special Federico Fellini-themed night at the Pershing Square Signature Center in midtown. First came "Caro Federico," a theatrical tribute to the famed director. As images from his famous movies played on a big screen behind them, Diane Lane and Edward Norton took turns reading quotes from various Fellini interviews, in which he discussed everything from his humble origins, to his hatred of fascism and its influence on his homeland, to his obsession with women of, um, ample endowment. Then guests including Lee Radziwill, Isabella Rossellini, and Alba Clemente sat down for a formal black-tie dinner dinner. Cin cin! >
