Let the Social Swirl Begin

No sooner was New York Fashion Week over than the charity circuit fired up. First up was last night's New Yorkers for Children Fall Gala, which benefits youth foster care. Established socials (Dayssi Olarte de Kanavos, Muffie Potter Aston, Debbie Bancroft) were joined by a new set of names (Hannah Bronfman, Annabelle Dexter-Jones) at Cipriani 42nd Street. Nicholas Scoppettta, the founder and president emeritus of NYFC, was the evening's honoree (Mayor Bloomberg will name a children's center after him) and after a live auction, Common performed for the spirited crowd.
