What: The third annual after-party for the World Monuments Fund’s Hadrian Gala.
When: Tuesday, October 22nd
Where: The Knoll showroom in midtown Manhattan, where the Pantone wall and displays including a new David Adjaye-designed chair provided the perfect backdrop for cocktails and canapés. (Andrew B Cogan, Knoll’s CEO, was given the Watch Award at the gala earlier that night.)
Who: Co-chairs Carlos Huber, a founder of Arquiste Parfumeur; W Magazine’s Karla Martinez de Salas, and fashion designer Rolando Santana.
Why: A chance to celebrates Mexico’s architecture and design and to toast the evening’s other honoree Roberto Hernandez Ramirez, the former president of Mexico’s largest bank, Banamex. He was given the Hadrian Award restoring haciendas throughout Mexico to their former glory.
