Naomi Watts's Pitch-Perfect Valentino
The actress turns heads by channeling the night's underwater theme to her advantage.
Who: Naomi Watts.
When: Monday, April 4.
Where: The New York Academy of Arts’ annual Tribeca Ball.
What: A long-sleeved sea blue Valentino dress with sequined embellishments.
Why: Valentino seems to be a favorite of hers lately — she wore a seafoam green ruffled gown to the premiere of Demolition. At the Tribeca Ball, in a dining room decked out with giant, illuminated jellyfish and walls adorned with images of far horizons (the night’s theme), Watts adheres to theme without going fully under the sea. It’s demure, with its ankle- and wrist-skimming silhouette, but still manages to turn heads.
