Then there’s the upcoming The Beauty Detox Power (Harlequin), by the nutritionist Kimberly Snyder. It’s loaded with smart lifestyle advice, but I recommend going straight to the food section; specifically, her BLT Stack With Avocado Miso Spread has, instead of bacon—wait for it—thin strips of baked eggplant.
