As a model, Cara Delevingne was constantly changing her hairstyles for fashion shows and ad campaigns. But the W cover star’s most daring hair transformations didn’t start until her acting career took off.

Earlier this month, Delevingne debuted a chin-length bob and silver-blonde color. But the most dramatic look is yet to come. Speaking with USA Today while promoting her upcoming film Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, Delevingne explained her icy makeover while dropping a major bombshell. “I have to shave my head for my next part, so I have to do something different,” she explained. “So I dyed it. Just for fun. Just to change it up,” she went on to say.

USA Today reports that the imminent makeover is for her role in Life in a Year, starring Delevingne stars as a dying young woman and Jaden Smith as her boyfriend.

While we don’t know when Delevingne will shave her head, the film is expected to be released next year, so it can’t be too far off. In the meantime, maybe she’ll play with a few new colors during her upcoming press tours.
