And then Blake Lively documented it.

It’s exhausting being beautiful. Just ask Chrissy Teigen.

The model Chrissy Teigen arrived at the Golden Globes red carpet Sunday night with husband John Legend. Within minutes, Teigen was on her way to do some interviews and then decided life is tiring, heels are painful, and decided to take a damn seat. Like she just sat down. On the stairs. No. Big. Deal.

She even conducted her interview with E!’s Ryan Seacrest while staying seated, because she writes her own rules. And like the queen she is, she remain seated when she was approached by Hollywood A-listers Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively. Basically you can probably find Teigen there on those steps tomorrow.

The mother and cookbook author has already tweeted about her iconic decision — because it’s easy to be on your phone when you’re chilling on some steps.

Teigen later explained that she chose her dress for the evening pretty easily because she doesn’t like to “try on many things.” Only Chrissy could slay laziness.

Legend Instagrammed he and his wife from the steps (a photo taken casually by Blake Lively) captioning it “red carpet relaxation.” Now that is husband goals.

Unsurprisingly, Twitter fell even more in love with Chrissy after her truly relatable choice.
