Paris Jackson, the 18-year-old second child and only daughter of Michael Jackson, was perhaps the most notable scion at Paris Fashion Week Men’s this season.

And yet, she flew relatively under-the-radar in comparison to her Millennial contemporaries like Presley Gerber, Rafferty Law, Brandon Thomas Lee, Sophia Richie, Lori Harvey, and the Stallone sisters—all of whom walked the flashy Dolce & Gabbana‘s fall 2017 show. Instead, Jackson made her front-row debut at Givenchy and Dior Homme, where she arrived in chic black-and-white looks both days, making her ultimately the most sophisticated, and demure, scion of the bunch.

This may have been Jackson’s first foray into fashion, but it was far from her first public appearance. In 2009, she and her brother, Michael Joseph “Prince” Jackson Jr., spoke at their father’s funeral, and again in January 2010, when they accepted a posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award for their father at the 2010 Grammy Awards. For the next few years, she remained out of the spotlight for personal reasons, but recently re-emerged, ready to face the world head-on. On Instagram alone, she’s gained almost one million followers for her posts about everything from environmental activism to feminism and yoga.

With bleach-blonde hair, stunning blue eyes, and numerous tattoos, she’s also got her own unique style, and clearly wants to leave her mark on the fashion industry as well. At Givenchy, she took selfies with A$AP Rocky and Bella Hadid, and at Dior she sat next to kindred spirit, Boy George. Prior to the Givenchy show, she was also spotted posing as Madonna for a rumored campaign in front of the Eiffel Tower.

Michael Jackson was known for stepping out in both men’s and women’s Dior and Givenchy looks. But with her outspoken voice and individual taste, Paris is taking after her father in more ways than one.
