Let your costume be scary, not your skin, and take a few cues from Jacquelyn Jablonski, Ruby Aldridge and Ashley Smith.

Halloween 2016 is a wrap. The remnants from last night are now catalogued through group selfies and Instagram posts – but what should not be memorialized is your beauty look from the night before. Take note from Halloween pros Jacquelyn Jablonski, Ruby Aldridge, and Ashley Smith on how to keep glowing post-party.

Ruby Aldridge.

Best past look: Well, the most in-depth costume I probably ever did was Edward Scissorhands simply because I made it all myself and put on all the scars etc. It was very satisfying.

Nighttime essentials: My friends.

Post-party ritual: Take off your makeup the minute you get home. Just grab some wipes and rub it off. You will be so glad! Also, I’ve been washing my face with coconut milk and honey facial cleanser from Foxbrim that I bought off Amazon – it’s great!

Morning-after cure: If I didn’t get the sleep I should have, I find using a nice eye cream in the morning helps. I like the Aveda Botanical Kinetics Eye Creme. But honestly, it’s about the night BEFORE. Stay hydrated my friends!

Feel better method: A little morning meditation and stretch never hurt anyone.

Tips from the pros: Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize! I’m loving this Vitamin C Serum by Radha Beauty lately.

Jacquelyn Jablonski as Cher.

Last night’s look: Friday I was Cher, but some people thought Pocahontas so I went with that, too. Last night I was in L.A. and dressed as a robot.

Nighttime essentials: I hardly carry anything when I go out because I hate having a bag get in the way of dancing. It pretty much consists of chapstick, a credit card, maybe concealer, and my phone.

Post-party ritual: I like Bioderma to remove makeup because it’s not too harsh. Vaseline surprisingly works well too for heavy eye makeup.

Morning-after cure: Sleep, tons of water, kombucha, ginger shot, scrambled eggs… or sometimes it’s just about the “hair of the dog” and ordering mimosas.

Recovery skincare: Hydrating sheet mask, Weleda Skin Food Moisturizer, more water, and a nice long shower.

Tips from the pros: Drink a whole glass of water when you wake up before touching coffee or food. Japanese eye drops are also amazing if you’re running on not much sleep.

Feel better method: Depends how bad the hangover. Always sleep then Pilates in the afternoon or the next day if I’m not feeling so hot still.

Ashley Smith.

Nighttime essentials: My LuMee phone case that has lights around it.

Post-party ritual: Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery face oil and eye cream. Taking off makeup is a must.

Morning-after cure: Sleep and vitamins and a giant glass of water at least! I wake up and boil water, squeeze an entire lemon in it, and then put cold water on top and drink it quickly. It helps fill your body with nutrients and flush your system. I also take a dandelion root supplement, which is a natural toxin flusher.

Feel better method: I go to Higher Dose in the East Village and get in the infrared sauna for 30 minutes.

Tips from the pros: I keep cold spoons in my freezer. That way, the next morning I can put them over my eyes to decrease puffiness. Sometimes I will also take ground up coffee and gently scrub it over my face to increase circulation. It also helps decrease puffiness.
