Victoria’s Secret Angel Taylor Hill Becomes a Denim Designer

Chiuri, Maria Grazia Behind the scenes with Dior’s first woman artistic director on Saturday — the day of the Women’s Marches across the globe — as she prepared for her debut couture collection, which coincided with Dior’s 70th anniversary.

Depp, Lily-Rose When she’s not hanging out on set with Natalie Portman and Soko, Lily-Rose Depp is the muse of Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld. Since they’ve known each other since she was only a child, it seems reasonable that now, she’s his couture bride.

Hill, Taylor The Victoria’s Secret Angel and recent runway favorite (walking the likes of Brandon Maxwell and Michael Kors during the last shows) just signed a deal with Joe’s Jeans — she’ll star as the face of the brand for the denim label’s upcoming campaigns and design four capsule collections. The first debuts in April.

Mortensen, Viggo Received his second Oscar nomination for Best Actor on Tuesday, for his role in Captain Fantastic. His success may be due in part to his willingness to embrace a feminine side, much like the greats (Montgomery Clift, Christopher Walken, Marlon Brando) before him, who he admired as a young actor.

Rodarte Moving to Paris. The Mulleavy sisters are foregoing New York Fashion Week this season, opting instead for an intimate presentation in the City of Lights. Moving forward, they’ll show during Paris Couture (though not among the 15-odd houses with the official blessing of the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture) — which actually seems like the perfect setting for a label that’s always been beautiful, if just a little inaccessible.

Vetements Tackles various social stereotypes in its Fall 2017 show — including such non-stereotypes as “Miss San Antonio” and “Angela.”
